Woman's Day Celebration
We will be having a good time attending the Women’s Day celebration held at the Union Buildings. Along with a few thousand other people,we will be listening to speeches as our honorable President Jacob Zuma will be delivering a keynote address at the National Woman's Day celebrations in Pretoria Union Buildings. Watch the space there is going to be music from different artist and dance performences by national and local personalities.National celebrations are always fun occasions but celebrations in South Africa seem to have an added level of joyousness.

The theme “56 years of women united against poverty, inequality and unemployment” this year’s event will mark 56th anniversary of the women’s anti-pass march to the Union Buildings. This historic march which took place in 1956 marked a turning point in the role of women in the struggle for freedom and society at large.
This year’s theme focuses on main challenges of South Africa in fighting poverty, inequality and unemployment of which women bear the most brunt.
