2012 SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards | 5th Year Anniversary now better than ever, we are taking it to another level, you have never experienced before. This year we celebrate our 5th year of SABC crown gospel award, a World Gospel Power House production. The World Gospel Power House, an organization and Ministry set up to professionally package, assist, manage and direct projects and programmes that enhance the delivery of the message of Christ to the nations.

Entries are now open for the fifth SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards and close on 15 September. The awards evening, hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal government, takes place at the ICC Durban on 18 November 2012, beginning at 6pm with an hour of worship before the awards.  Grammy Award winner, the  RnB legend Anthony Hamilton, he is here to celebrate Women’s month. The song-writer, record producer and actor.He is here for the second time. He is scheduled to perform at Ellis Park Arena (formerly known as Standard Bank Arena) on the 16th of August , Cape Town ICC on the 17th of August, Ellis Park Arena on the 18th of August and will end the tour at, The Wave House in Durban on the 19th of August.  Hamilton scored a platinum debut with Coming From Where I’m From in 2003, featuring the chart-topping hit “Charlene”. Two years later, he returned with gold-certified sophomore set Ain’t Nobody Worryin’, which spun off the No.1 hit “Can’t Let Go”. Then in 2008 came The Point Of It All with another hit “Her Heart”.
“Some people write songs to be hits,” said Mr Hamilton, a skillful songwriter in his own right. “Some people write songs because they love it … and that brings a different feeling to the music".
Among the Hamilton-described “firecrackers and life-reflecting songs” he added.

We will be having a good time attending the Women’s Day celebration held at the Union Buildings. Along with a few thousand other people,we will be listening to speeches as our honorable President Jacob Zuma will be delivering a keynote address at the National Woman's Day celebrations in Pretoria Union Buildings. Watch the space there is going to be music from different artist and dance performences by national and local personalities.National celebrations are always fun occasions but celebrations in South Africa seem to have an added level of joyousness.

The theme “56 years of women united against poverty, inequality and unemployment” this year’s event will mark 56th anniversary of the women’s anti-pass march to the Union Buildings. This historic march which took place in 1956 marked a turning point in the role of women in the struggle for freedom and society at large.

This year’s theme focuses on main challenges of South Africa in fighting poverty, inequality and unemployment of which women bear the most brunt.

From ten in the morning, the stadium will be packed and the artists will start singing at the very moment. "Do not keep us waiting because,the biggest name in South African gospel will be present, all under the banner of Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival" said a source on Ukhozi F M Gospel Music Festival website.
Ukhozi FM is working closely with Thobela FM and Ikwekwezi FM in organising this event and this three SABC radio are involved in community work for an example the  part of the proceeds from the Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival will go to the Arnie Williams Foundation for Abused Women and Children, who do a sterling job in catering for the needs of the abused.

Musically, fans of great gospel can expect to hear and see classic performances from each of the artists. Some old, some new, and even more Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival greatest hits with Rebecca delivering an hour-long performance.
